9-6-2014 Mark 1:7-8
S. 7 And preached, saying, There cometh
one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to
stoop down and unloose.8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall
baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
O. John declares that Jesus will come and
baptize man with the Holy Ghost.
A. Repentance brings a person into right
standing with God. The Holy Ghost is the ambassador of God who dwells in man to
aid him in his new walk.
P. Father; baptize me fresh today and renew
my spirit. Amen.
