10-8-2014 Mark 4:30-32
S. 30
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what
comparison shall we compare it? 31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which,
when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:32
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and
shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the
shadow of it.
O. Jesus
uses the mustard grain as an example of how a small amount of faith can become
massive.
A. My
faith has the potential to become very strong. I will think, plan, study and
live under the direction of faith. My faith comes from God so I will ask God to
help me learn how to use it.
P. Father;
thank you for the faith you have given to me. Open my understanding as I grow
in grace and teach me the perfect way to live…….the way that will be pleasing
to you. Amen.
