12-26-2014 Mark 15: 1-4
S. 1
And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the
elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him
away, and delivered him to Pilate.2 And Pilate asked him, Art thou the King of
the Jews? And he answering said unto him, Thou sayest it.3 And the chief
priests accused him of many things: but he answered nothing.4 And Pilate asked
him again, saying, Answerest thou nothing? behold how many things they witness
against thee.
O. Jesus
is silent before Pilate.
A. The
life of Jesus was his testimony and there was no need to justify or defend
himself. The life I live shall speak
louder than any words. I need not defend or justify righteousness, just live
it!
P Father;
I am committed to you and you alone as my God and Saviour. Reveal to me my shortcomings
as I strive to live in righteousness and faith. Amen.
