Pastoring

Did Jesus live, eat, walk, work and involve himself in close personal relationships with his disciples? Looking through the Bible we see Jesus doing exactly these actions. He lived in a real world. He shared his time, energy, faith and love with those around him. Jesus is the perfect example of what a Pastor should be.

2-9-2015         Romans 7:2-3

S.       2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

O.      Teaching about divorce and re-marriage.

A.      A covenant is intended to be for life. God never wants our relationships to be temporary or disposable. Death is the only honorable end to the marriage covenant.

P.       Father; teach us how to forgive, how to love and how to avoid sin. Draw us near to you and let us see through your eyes. Fill us with your Holy Spirit. Amen.
