Fearful Preachers

Why are so many people deceived? Why do they run after sin? I think it will be laid at the feet of the preacher, the preacher that waters down the word of God. When we preach the truth we will NOT be popular, we will NOT have the praise of man, we will NOT be the darling of the sinner, he will HATE us. I am looking at my responsibility in this matter and I will repent and turn to the only one who can set me on the right path. Pray for me, you that love me, because I am stepping into a proper place before God.........I will call sin, SIN, and I will not weaken the message any longer. 

6-30-2015      Luke 6:17-19

S.       17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; 18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. 19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

O.      Jesus heals the sick, diseased and those with unclean spirits.

A.      Ministering to sick people is an important part of the ministry. I know that God can heal, cleanse and set the captive free. Many people today have a spirit of infirmity and need to be set free. I must be led by God’s gift of discernment to recognize the difference between sickness and spiritual infirmity.

P.       Father; open my eyes to the real problems of life and fill me with courage to speak the truth, in love, to each person I minister to today, Amen.  

Keep on TRUSTING!

This has been an eventful week. Not much that I like about all the political "junk" going on or the legal "junk". Even with all the downturn......I am still a happy man. I have good health, beautiful family, all my needs (and most of my wants) met and best of all I still have a relationship with my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Why should I panic or live in fear of a crumbling America? Why should I predict doom and gloom? I have trusted God with my life for almost fifty years and he has NEVER let me down. Guess I will trust him now!

6-28-2015      Luke 6:12

S.       12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

O.      This is how Jesus prays.

A.      All night prayer is how Jesus prepares to do important things. I must not rely on my own ability to serve God and be a proper Christian. I will increase my time with God in Prayer.

P.       Father; fill me with the Holy Ghost and power that I may overcome my flesh and serve you to my greatest potential and know how to pray. Amen. 

God's Love: Written in My Heart

I will enter the house of the Lord and praise him! I will thank him for calling me and extending his love to me. Why God would call me is a mystery, but he did, and I am so glad he called me. He is a good God and worthy of praise. God showed me his love.......he placed it upon a cross for all the world to see. Then he placed it in my heart.........for all the world to see. I pray that it may be seen in me.

6-22-2015      Luke 5:27-32

S.       27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.  he left all, rose up, and followed him. 29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them. 30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?  Jesus answering said unto them, they that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

O.      The call of Levi and the context of the message Jesus preached.

A.      God’s call is to “whosoever”. The response to that call is repentance. I will spend my life fighting sin, sharing God’s love and being transformed. I will help others along the way to do the same.

P.       Father; cleans me from all sin, guide my steps and fill me with your spirit. Extend your love through me today. Amen.

God Knows Just What You Need!

There is power in the name of Jesus. Power to save, power to heal, power to keep and power to change. May our faith in Jesus release his power into every area of our life. God knows just what you need, may he grant you that need........in the Name of Jesus! Amen.

6-22-2015      Luke 5:26

S.       26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, we have seen strange things to day.

O.      Public reaction to the healing.

A.      How do I react to the workings of God when I am around others? My reaction will either glorify God or bring disgrace. I choose to glorify God and believe. God is a miracle working God, he can do anything.

P.       Father; use me in any way or form you choose. I surrender my all to you. Amen.

Father's Day

Fathers Day is filled with mixed emotions. Dad is twelve hundred miles away. Can't go hug his neck and a call is just not the same. Some of my own children are many miles away and I won't get to see them either. So proud to be a dad and yet I remember all the times I was too hard on my kids. Don't think I realized the importance of setting the right example until they were almost grown. Still happy though at the way my kids turned out, all good Christians, serving God and raising me up some awesome Grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

6-21-2015      Luke 5:17-25

S.       17And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.18And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.19And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. 20 and when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.  the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? butt when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house 25 and immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

O.      Jesus heals and publicly forgives sin.

A.      The sin and the sickness were not one- and the same. First the sin was forgiven and the man was still suffering from the Palsy, then came his healing. Both sin and sickness are enemies to mankind. Jesus makes victory over these available to all who will enter into covenant with him through the blood of Jesus.

   P.       Father; fill me with the Holy Ghost so I may be able to               discern how to fight sin and walk in authority. Amen.  

Evil

The world needs to admit that sin is evil......all sin. The death and destruction of evil are going to be destroyed on the day that Jesus returns for his Bride. Until then; father against son, mother against daughter and nation against nation is the order of the day.

When we wear the name Christian we are claiming to be a part of God's covenant between God and man. I wish that some of you would read the part of the word that says "Let no evil communication proceed out of your mouth". On Facebook I see praise to God one post and sinful communication on the next......friends.....this should not happen. Either you are in covenant with God or you are in covenant with the devil......can't have both. I tell you this not to condemn you but because I love you and don't want you to be cast aside (with the goats) on judgement day.

6-19-2015      Luke 5:12-15

S.       12And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.14And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.15But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

O.      Jesus heals leprosy and directs the one healed to honor the Law of Moses.

A.      We must obey God’s laws if we expect to walk in covenant with him. To disobey is to sin and if we sin then satan is our father. 1 John 3:8

   
     P.       Father; I submit myself to you completely, body, mind and spirit. Amen. 

How to PRAY

Ask the Holy Spirit: Who should I pray over today? Then release authority towards that person. God has given man dominion (authority) over every living thing and the earth. USE that authority under the direction of the Holy Spirit and see the results.

6-18-2015      Luke 5:1-11

S.       1And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, 2And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.3And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.4Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.5And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.6And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.7And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.8When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.9For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: 10And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.11And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

O.      After preaching from a small fishing boat, to avoid the press of the crowd, Jesus instructs Peter in the catching of an amazingly large number of fish.

A.      Obeying the commands of the Lord will bring about wonderful blessings. I am committed to being faithful to the Lord.

P.       Father; Thank you for leading me into this wonderful relationship. Accept my praise and adoration. I am glad to be your son and serve your loving will for my life. Use me as you see fit. Amen.  

Who is your God.......

Jesus died on the cross, why? 
To set those bound by sin free.....free, not almost free!
1 John 3:8 says: If you commit sin, you are in league with the devil. Jesus destroys the works of the devil.
Quit living in covenant with the devil......quit sinning. 
Give yourself over to God......step into his blood covenant......exercise your covenant authority.....resist the devil......and he will flee!

6-17-2015      Luke 4:38-44

S.       38And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.39And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.40Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.41And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.42And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.43And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.44And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.

O.      Jesus heals at the house of Simon and travels and preaches in Galilee.

A.      Healing and preaching are of great value today as they were when Jesus walked on earth as a man. He used his authority to cast out un-clean spirits and heal. He is always the same; he does not change, so healing is to be a part of my ministry today.

P.       Father; help me to walk in the footprints of Jesus and use me in his healing ministry. Amen.

Newness in faith!

I am in awe of God's integrity. God has fulfilled each promise he has ever made with those who walk in covenant with him. I have entered into a better understanding of what a "blood covenant" is. God opened my understanding as I was seeking answers as to why many people I pray for are not healed. After all Jesus did pay the price for our healing (by his stripes we are healed) and I believe I am using faith in the proper manner. I still don't have all the answers about healing but I did discover that this covenant is much more than just believing. Covenant is a union that only death can close, I commit fully to God and God commits to me. I am a representative of his person and he is my representative. We are one in all aspects of existence. Jesus said, "I and the father are one" and then he said that he would be "one"with whosoever would follow him in complete obedience.What an exciting journey.

6-16-2015      Luke 4:31-37

S.       31And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.32And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.33And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, 34Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? Art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.35And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.36And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! For with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.37And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

O.      Jesus exercises authority over evil spirits.

A.      The world attributes more power to evil than actually exists. Christians should exercise authority over evil (In the Name of Jesus) and stop living in fear. Our foe is defeated, and powerless in the presence of Jesus.

P.       Father; thank you for the blood covenant, your un-breakable word and calling me into this powerful relationship. Amen.

Sinlessness

Adam and Eve in the Garden: No sin and no sickness.

Jesus as a man on earth: No sin and no sickness.

Us in Heaven: no sin and no sickness.

There is a clear lesson in this outline about sickness. Sickness came upon man as a result of sin, another good reason to HATE sin, avoid sin, repent and obey God's Word.

If you can avoid sin for only one minute at a time...........live your life..........one........sinless minute at a time.
