11-27-2014 Mark 11:7-10 Thanksgiving
Day
S. 7
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat
upon him. 8 And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down
branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way. 9 And they that went
before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that
cometh in the name of the Lord: 10 Blessed be the kingdom of our father David,
that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.
O. This
is the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, known to us as Palm Sunday.
This as a day of great joy, for these people expected Jesus to be a liberating
King.
A. I
have found Jesus and he is a liberating King. Jesus gave me liberty as he
washed away my sin, cleansed my heart and recreated my mind. My life is running
over with joy, peace and love.
P. Father;
thank you for calling me into your Grace and restoring my soul. I love you Lord
and I give you myself, body, mind and spirit. Amen.
