Rapture

This is the month of an open window. The 13th to the 15th of September 2015. Are you prepared to be "caught away"? Are you watching? This may be the the day and hour Christians have been waiting and longing for..........BE READY!

9-4-2015         Luke 10:25-37

S.       25And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? 26He said unto him, what is written in the law? how readest thou?27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.28And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?30And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?37And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

O.      The Good Samaritan.

A.      I must be a good neighbor to all I meet in order to represent Jesus as an ambassador.

P.       Father; touch my heart and mind with mercy and grace and open my eyes to the ones that I can help. Amen.

His return may be today.

Are you ready? Are you watching? Jesus is closer than anyone can imagine! You have seen these words many times and nothing has happened, so, you keep going along just as always. You don't believe that it will ever happen .... but it will. Start living like you believe he will come today ... each day will be a testimony of faith.

3-27-2015      Romans 12:9-10

S.       9Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.10Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;

O.      How we must treat each other.

A.      Love is my guiding factor in how I treat others. I will treat others the way I want to be treated.

P.       Father; Fill me with love and teach me how to give that love to others. Amen.

Victory for TODAY

I plan a wonderful future each day. I look forward to the blessings, challenges and fellowship each day brings. I can do this because of my Faith in God. Be Happy and be Blessed.

3-7-2015         Romans 9:26-28

S.       26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. 27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: 28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

O.      The difference between the righteous and the un-righteous is declared by God. Not all who are born are righteous.

A.      My righteousness must be footed in Jesus and not the tradition of men. I must be born of the Water and the Spirit and abandon all sin.

P.       Father; walk beside me and guide my steps. Amen.

3-8-2015         Romans 9:29-33

S.       29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodom, and been made like unto Gomorrha. 30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith. 31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; 33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

O.      Jesus has been rejected by the Jews and this is why they are rejected by God.

A.      I must be pure before God. I must embrace Jesus and reject sin. I must live my life as an overcomer, servant and son of God. Then and only then am I a child of God.

P.       Father; I confess all my sin and I flee the habits of the flesh that you hate. I ask for forgiveness and pledge to live for you. Receive me into your arms and strengthen me with your spirit. Amen.

Recovery

Recovery is a slow and painful process. In our bodies we have scares and deformities from the tragedy's so common to living. We adapt, replace, repair, implant and then go on. Often the pace is slowed, steps are short and less is accomplished each day.......but we keep going. I often wonder why we don't apply the same determination to our spiritual lives. Something goes wrong at church and we quit. Someone we look up to fails, we quit. Spiritual recovery is a slow process just like physical recovery is slow. We should apply some of the same tactics to our spiritual renewal.......and KEEP GOING ON FOR GOD.

11-14-2014    Mark 9:33-37

S.       33 And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way? 34 But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest. 35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all. 36 And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them, 37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

O.      Jesus explains to his disciples how greatness is defined within his kingdom.

A.      Serving is a privilege that all followers of Jesus should seek to accomplish. In this world of competition, self-glory, dog eat dog, ladder climbing and greed the concept of serving is lost or at best belittled. Christians can bear great witness of faith by serving others out of a grateful heart.

P.       Father; I do not seek to be great, or famous. I seek to have the heart of a servant lead by the mind of Christ. Please remake my heart to be more like Jesus. Amen.

Friendship

I received word of a great loss yesterday morning. My friend was killed in a motorcycle accident.
What do we do when a friend is suddenly gone? Do we cry, scream, hide our pain or just come undone? I have done all that and I still hurt. My friend was the best example of friendship. He never let anything I said, or did, change our relationship. He was always the same. Seek out your friends today and let them know you care. This may be your last chance.

9-14-2014      Mark 1:36-39

S.       36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

O.      Simon finds Jesus in prayer and tells him that people are seeking to see him. Jesus travels to new places to minister in Galilee.

A.      The messages of salvation, healing and deliverance are my responsibility. I will share these with as many as possible.

P.       Father; lead me by your Holy Spirit in the sharing of this wonderful gospel message today. Speak through me, heal through me and love through me. Amen.
