I think we have been had! The Supreme Court has made Obama care the law of the land. Now the insurance companies are guaranteed the ability to treat people any way they please and at any rate they choose. The government is showing preference to the insurance industry by forcing all taxpayers to buy their product. I think that if the truth could be uncovered these same politicians are the real owners of the insurance companies and that the only thing being insured is their wealth. Health care is so expensive because the government won't get out of the way and let the market push down cost.
Let's clean house in Washington. Remove all politicians with more than ten years, the same for all Judges, and elect new people that will listen to the American people. Stop all lifetime pay benefits. Provide the same health care to the elected as we provide to our citizens and close down the IRS.
My rant is very therapeutic to my soul.....thank you for following.

8-22-2015      Luke 9:37-42

S.       37And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him. 38And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child. 39And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him. 40And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not. 41And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither. 42And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

O.      Jesus cast out the unclean spirits.

A.      The unclean spirit is no match for the healing power of God. I can fight these evil spirits and overcome them by using the authority given me by God.

P.       Father; increase my courage as I engage in spiritual warfare and keep your hand on me. Amen.

Fearful Preachers

Why are so many people deceived? Why do they run after sin? I think it will be laid at the feet of the preacher, the preacher that waters down the word of God. When we preach the truth we will NOT be popular, we will NOT have the praise of man, we will NOT be the darling of the sinner, he will HATE us. I am looking at my responsibility in this matter and I will repent and turn to the only one who can set me on the right path. Pray for me, you that love me, because I am stepping into a proper place before God.........I will call sin, SIN, and I will not weaken the message any longer. 

6-30-2015      Luke 6:17-19

S.       17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases; 18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed. 19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

O.      Jesus heals the sick, diseased and those with unclean spirits.

A.      Ministering to sick people is an important part of the ministry. I know that God can heal, cleanse and set the captive free. Many people today have a spirit of infirmity and need to be set free. I must be led by God’s gift of discernment to recognize the difference between sickness and spiritual infirmity.

P.       Father; open my eyes to the real problems of life and fill me with courage to speak the truth, in love, to each person I minister to today, Amen.  

child of your Father!!!!!!

When we wear the name Christian we are claiming to be a part of God's covenant between God and man. I wish that some of you would read the part of the word that says "Let no evil communication proceed out of your mouth". On Facebook I see praise to God one post and sinful communication on the next......friends.....this should not happen. Either you are in covenant with God or you are in covenant with the devil......can't have both. I tell you this not to condemn you but because I love you and don't want you to be cast aside (with the goats) on judgement day.

6-19-2015      Luke 5:12-15

S.       12And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 13And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.14And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.15But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

O.      Jesus heals leprosy and directs the one healed to honor the Law of Moses.

A.      We must obey God’s laws if we expect to walk in covenant with him. To disobey is to sin and if we sin then satan is our father. 1 John 3:8

   
     P.       Father; I submit myself to you completely, body, mind and spirit. Amen. 

Shedding innocent blood

God hate's seven things. If he hates these so will I. He will need to teach me how to react to these seven things because I am sure I don't know how. The third thing listed is the shedding of innocent blood. Rockets and bombs flying into peoples homes and killing children would cover this. Bullets from gang fights, drunks driving, are just as bad. Dear Lord, teach us how to live in peace and love.

4-20-2015      Romans 15:17-21

S.       17I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.18For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient, by word and deed,19Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.20Yea, so have I strived to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build upon another man's foundation:21But as it is written, To whom he was not spoken of, they shall see: and they that have not heard shall understand.

O.      Paul shares Jesus from Jerusalem to Illyricum to the Gentiles.

A.      I must share Jesus, not doctrine, not religion, not tradition, not church. Jesus is my message.

P.       Father; I invite you into my life. Come in and reside and transform me into the image of Christ. Amen.

God hates sin!

The word "hate" is used 87 times in 85 verses in the King James Bible. There is much to learn about God from these references. In Proverbs 6:16 there is a list of things that God hates. The first thing that God has on this list is; A proud look. This is conceit, arrogance, self importance or in a nut shell pride. God hates this sinful aspect of pride. We hate this as well when we see it in others. We should hate pride, our false pride, our selfish pride. This pride is a sinful pride and will lead us into hell. Why does God list pride first? Pride was the sin of lucifer.

4-6-2015         Romans 14:1-3

S.       1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

O.      The weak and the strong serving together in harmony.

A.      We all grow spiritually at different paces. Tolerance and patience are needed to aid each other in this effort. We must all work together as we strive for perfection.

     P.       Father in Heaven; teach me patience and understanding for I am weak and need your                         strength. Amen. 

Dry and dusty

The rain is falling on my thirsty land. Any day now I will be setting out onions in the garden. This rain will help my garden soil to be workable. Seems like some Christians I meet could use a little rain on their souls.

1-21-2015      Romans 5:9-11

S.       9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

O.      Atonement comes by the blood of Jesus.

A.      Jesus has paid my sin-debt and empowers me to live a justified life. How can words express the gratitude, peace and joy that is mine today? The only word that covers this is Grace!

P.       Father; I stand before you today washed in the Blood of your son Jesus; whole, safe and complete. Thank you God for loving me. Amen.

 

Finding Grace

How long will God hold back judgement? As I read the old testament I see that God was angry at man and decided to erase him altogether. But one man was given special consideration because he was different. How was he different? He had developed a relationship with God, he respected God, he made acceptable sacrifices unto God, he did not practice sin and he listened to God! So God spared him (and his family) as he erased everyone else. Looking at the condition of the world today I am amazed that God has held back his wrath for so long. Just for the record; I am going to learn and practice Noah's relationship secrets.......and find Grace in the eyes of the Lord.

S.       18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

O.      God will not let wickedness, sin or self-pleasing go un-punished. He will not tolerate idol worship.

A.      I must guard against self-indulgence of every type or kind. Self-indulgence is idol worship and I am the idol. My focus will be on God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit as my teachers, leaders and protectors of my life. I will live to please God and bring my body into subjection and surrender to God’s will for me.

    P.     Father; without your help I can’t live a holy life, think holy thoughts or be a holy man.                        Cleans me, fill me, lead me and hold my hand that I do not stumble or fail. May the world see              Jesus living through me, Amen.

September 11th

As I woke this morning I was weeping and in pain: I had a dream that bombs were going off all over America on September 11th. This dream was so real to me. Christians; Please start praying now that this does not become a reality. Don't live in fear, just trust God and be prepared. I know what this post will bring down on me from some people but I would rather have some people upset with me than fail to warn God's people. Remember: God loves you and so do I.
